What do I mean by understanding the science of cravings?
When you processed starches and sugars those foods turn to glucose as soon as they are digested. Those glucose molecules make their way into your bloodstream and the concentration of those glucose molecules starts increasing. The more that it increases the stronger glucose spike that happens after that meal. The body reacts by sending insulin produced in the pancreas into the bloodstream to put those glucose molecules away in cells (especially around the belly area). When insulin puts glucose away, and when glucose decreases too quickly (becasue the body is sending too much insulin) then you experience what's known as a "sugar crash". This process creates a cycle of cravings for glucose filled foods every two hours , along with fatigue.
